Rio de Janeiro is a sparkling and magic city. Beautifully located between the mountains and the sea, her natural setting can only be described with one word: perfect! With forests, mountains, rocky walls, beaches, bay, islands, lagoons everything within the city limits.

Besides her natural setting The Marvelous City has much more to offer, capital of the country from 1763-1960 its city center hides a treasure of nice buildings from different styles ranging from colonial buildings, eclectic and neoclassical till modern skyscrapers reflecting the different developing periods of the city and country.

Rio is also of course the city of samba and carnival and during the whole year the national rhythm number one the samba is played and danced in the most diverse places and bars. From August till February, the month of carnival the take place the famous rehearsals of the well known samba schools with their great bateria (drum group). In Rio you never get bored.
